ITFC to expand trade financing portfolio in Pakistan urdu
Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, pledged his government's full support to the Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) for diversifying its portfolio in Pakistan.
Pakistan's Finance Minister Mr. Muhammad Aurangzeb held a meeting with the delegation of the Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), led by its CEO Engineer. Hani Salem Sonbol.
He appreciated ITFC’s support for providing commodity financing worth USD 3 billion through a Framework Agreement over the next three years, including the immediate provision of USD 269 million through a mix of direct financing and syndication.
ITFC expressed its commitment to diversify its portfolio in Pakistan.
The Finance Minister assured the government’s full support in this regard.
